Default immobiliser problems

Has anyone had any problems with the immobiliser cutting in briefly whilst driving, this has happened to me several times. Most unnerving. Honda dealer now has the car but don't seem to be getting anywhere. Both keys have been re-coded, no change. We have beautiful weather here at the moment and my car is stuck in the dealers, I am not happy.

Well, let's start debugging by asking the obvious questions...how do you know it's the immobiliser kicking in?

MacGyver-- Hi, the engine is running and Im driving along, suddenly the revs drop and the green key on the dash lights up ( in the U.K. thats the immobiliser light ) couple of seconds then all returns to normal. However the last time it happened the revs dropped to zero and the management light came on as well, total engine cut out, not good on the road. The Honda technician was with me at the time, so he saw the problem first hand. I also have an alarm problem, constantly goes off for no apparent reason. They seem to think the two problems are interconnected.

If you're having alarm issues, I would DEFINITELY say the two are related. I would first check the connection between the alarm and the ECU...if it's flakey, it will easily set off the immobiliser and cut power to the fuel pump.
