Default impossible? VIS hardtop - rear glass window defroster

Is it possible to install a rear glass window defroster for our VIS mugen style hardtops? Getting the glass, tempered or not, is not the problem. Having the rear defroster function is where I can't find any clear answers. A wiring loom may be required, maybe salvaged from a factory hardtop. Is it possible to install the defrosting element onto the glass rear window?

I feel like I've methodically searched the forum from body/paint and even regional sections. Figured this would be the best place to ask. Really want to replace the piece of plexi-glass that came on my hardtop. Having a defroster would look very factory as well.

if you get a glass window for your hardtop you could carefully peal off the defroster on your or another oem glass soft top window and apply it to your hardtop glass.

Should have no trouble rigging it up to the OEM switch and harness.
