Thumbs up Improve The Range Of Keyless Entry

How do you improve the rang of the keyless entry? Mine sucks I need to be like 5 feet away or it wont work. I replaced the battery on the remote thinking that was the issue and no good.

i'm not sure if this is an old wives' tale or not, but SUPPOSEDLY if you put it to the the bottom of your head and open your mouth, i think that extends the range...

Search. I vaguely remember a thread where someone extended the antenna wire for the RKE and significantly extended the range. IIRC, the antenna wire's somewhere along the rockers, in the interior??

Ya, the rang on mine is pretty poor too. It's kinda sad that my 2001 Mitsubishi Galant had better range than my 2007 S2000...

Why, because the AP1 sits higher than the AP2 and thus receives the signal better?

Wives tale... your mouth/head does nothing to extend the range, but holding the remote in that position (perpendicular to the ground) DOES help.
