Perfect! Do have a read of the manual that comes with the speakers, but that'd work brilliantly.

Make sure you have the tweeter and woofer channels on the same gain control, as you'll need to set the gains for each type together.

i.e. if the gain controls are Channels 1/2 together, and 3/4 together, connect the tweeters to 1/2 and the woofers to 3/4.

Regarding the manual, ill have to look online for it. Got these off craigslist and I don't have a manual. Anything off hand I should look for in the manual?

After reading more on the kenwood X993, it seems the ipod search function is blah....So, I'll be getting the 9887 at some point!
