Default Installation in Virginia

Hey I finally ordered my speakers (MB Quart components) and now I am looking for an amp to power them and maybe a sub. But my question is... does anyone know a good (but inexpensive) place to get my amp installed in the DC area? I feel comfortable doing the speakers but I haven't done an amp myself before. Thanks for the help.

stafford, dont go to a business to get an amp intalled. its a simple process that they will charge you for basically nothing. if you are in the area i'll help you free of charge.

Wow man that would be great. I live right outside of DC in Crystal City. I am not sure where Stafford is, but I would work something out with you if you could help.

sure, i'll be working on my car all weekend. i'll give you directions if you want to stop by. just pm me your email address. have you bought the amp already? also do you have an aftermarket head unit. The stock radio doesn't have any preouts on the back so you would need a hi/lo converter. What year is your car?

I haven't bought the amp yet. I am still trying to decide whether I want a 2 or four channel (for a sub later.) But the amps I am looking at all have speaker level inputs so I don't think I would need the converter to use my stock headunit.

I have a 2002 Suzuka Blue.

I might be getting the amp in the next day or so. I will let you know and that would work out really well.

Alright got the amp this weekend, or at least ordered it. The amp should be here middle of the week. I will get in touch with you then.

no problem, what did you buy? I can get kenwood and pioneer products at less than half price. I just bought a $1650 dollar in dash kenwood lcd for 720 dollars.
