When installing the component speakers, is it as simple as removing the door cover, removing the stock speakers, and plugging in the aftermarket speakers?

What I mean is, do you just disconnect the stock speakers and connect the aftermarket speakers?

Do I need to buy some sort of wiring harness or do any soldering?

Also, what size component speakers am I looking for? 6''?
