Ok, so after a lot of debate as to what to get (and a ton of help from Dave - NFR), I finally decided on a setup:
Components:
Alphasonik PCT6501
Amps:
2 Alphasonik PMA300HCA
Subwoofer:
Alphasonik PSW8104 with enclosure and cover (from the group buy)
Headunit (if you sell alpine at all):
Alpine CDA-9856
Dave offered to install it for a great deal, and John decided to drive down from Mass. to help with the install. Aside from the fact that it was 30 degrees all freakin day, it was awesome. Anyway... to the real point of the post: one really, really clean install.

These guys did a great job, and I really can't thank them enough. Two stand-up guys who really know their stuff and set me up with a great system. Thanks again!
On a side note, anyone ever found an enormous amount of sunflower seeds behind their interior and trunk panels?
Your setup sounds great! and looks good to boot Yeah the weather/temp made the install take longer but it did come out very nice.
I was very happy with the look and sound of the install. The only other thing that could be done is the wiring behind the trim board does need a few ty-wraps but we ran out. So one of the times you see Dave for tuning or whatever, he can put a few in the right spots just to hold everything in its proper place.
But other than that I'm glad your happy with it!
I think I'm going to have to make an Alphasonik badge for people that purchase Alpha gear from me. We can have our own little club
About the PCT6501 componants... I have noticed that they seem very bright. I did a rough tune using a dB meter and an excel spreadsheet I made. I had a huge spike around 6k and took some of it out with the EQ, but it still seems quite brite. Is there a way to set the slope or something in those crossovers that come with it??
You can remove the silver cover and move the jumper to a setting you like.
Your running them from the PC so you should be able to tune them to perfection
What setting do you recomend? What do mean by how I instaldl them? How I mounted the tweeters? I dremeled the OEM pods out to accept them. The big "A" is what shows now. Looks cool.
Well I'm not sure what you have it set to, with regards to it sounding to bright. you can put it on the lower setting. Most people put them at -3db. I would try that and see how they sound.
Glad you like it bud. I agree everything went well, sounds great, nothing broke (except 2 clips ) and we had fun. You can honestly say to people that you can hear your system for 2 blocks, cause we walked away, and John was singing word for word
Once it gets a bit warmer, Ill meet up with you, and clean up your wires. As always, John's (Darkknight) work was excellent, everything fit and pounded like it should.
John (DK)...if you make an alpha badge, I get the Alpha original Since I was the first one to try em out.

John, I like the idea of the badge!

Were the components recently installed?
If so, the tweeters will sound too bright until the mids break-in. At least that was my experience with my Polk Audios. If available, adjust the output level of the tweeter on the crossover to its lowest level of output (e.g., -6 dB) to start off with and adjust it accordingly over time.
