Default Installing Head Unit

When replacing the stock head unit with an aftermarket head unit, do you reuse the mounting brackets from the stock head unit? or do you use the cage that comes with the aftermarket head unit?

I tried taking the mounting brackets off the stock head unit, but the 4 screws holding them down will NOT come loose

I use an inexpensive ratchet-handle driver (90-degree, not a "screwdriver" handle) on stubborn screws.

here. majestic has them .. for 2.50 a piece... take the price to local dealer and find one that will match.

I do it with local dealer and they somtimes charge a bit more.. but still worth it.
most likely special order. takes a couple of days
