Modifry makes a flat mount that attaches with a single screw behind the heater controls.

I took a 90 degree angled piece of metal with holes in it I had lying around, attached it at that screw, put some sticky velcro on it and velcroed an Ipod Nano to it. You could do the same thing but use a standard iphone/gps/whatever mount.

I followed RXDI's lead and installed the Modifry Dash Bracket and used the ProClip Padded Holder with Tilt Swivel. It looks fantastic, works perfectly, puts the phone right where I'd want it. I love it and highly recommend it.

RXDI's original thread (it appears that some of it has vanished): https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=685361

Here is the bracket: http://www.modifry.com/products/mounts/mdb.htm

Here is the iPhone holder: http://www.proclipusa.com/Default.asp?sect...43&pageid=14025

I like the Jelly cover for the phone, that way you can leave it on top of the cup holder... it usually stays for me.

anyone using that modifry bracket, how is it in terms of vibration? is it solid or does it vibrate and make noise and other things to that effect?

+1 for the Modifry mount and whatever device mount floats your boat (Proclip makes some good ones).

I've never had problems with vibration/noise with Modifry's mount. It isn't completely rigid but it's not going to flop about either.

I went the cheap route - bought a side holster type iphone holder, clipped it on to the arm rest (leather part pops up, you can jimmy the clip over). works great!
