I've never used it before or heard anything about it, but Pioneer makes one now too...

I'm not 100% sure what Pioneer units are compatible with the CB-IB100 but I'm sure a search on Crutchfield will reveal which ones will work (a good hint would be if it is IP-Bus compatible).

Nearly any headunit can control an iPod with Pac's AUX-POD (for Auxillary [input] iPod):

So by "nearly any", does that include the stock headunit?

Hate to be so synical, but Alpine head units (2005 models) are the only way to go. Everything elso just isn't solid.

Yeah you should be able to get it to work with the stock headunit. You won't be able to hook up satellite radio or a CD changer to the head unit anymore I don't think though.

The Alpine / Pioneer units offer the additional ability to have the song title etc printed on the head unit and searching through the iPod which you may not get with other units like the ones that work with the stock headunit.

www.logjamelectronics.com sells 2 units that work with the stock S2000 head unit (warning, its a different part # for the 2004+ S2000s versus the 2000-2003 S2000s). And www.densionusa.com makes one that they now apparently sell at Best Buy. Dension's Customer support is pretty crappy though, I called them everyday for 10 days and left a message and not once did I receive a callback. Never got to talk to anyone either.

You can check the link in my post for their compatibility list or give them a call. I don't sell them so I can't tell you for sure . I believe it does work with the S2000 harness. You have to splice some wires with the AUX-POD so "nearly any" pretty much means all in this case.

I have one of these on order:

Many other threads on this board recommend this for ipod control w/ stock HU. Lets you use dash radio controls to change tracks, etc..

Pricey, but hopefully worth it.
