It's not visible when installed. The USA Spec iPod Interface comes with instructions specifically for the S2000. You pretty much just remove the front panel (https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?act=m...mage&img=238818), remove four outers from the head unit, plug the adapter in and run the wire wherever you want.

[QUOTE=gshoq,Feb 22 2009, 09:41 PM] I installed the USA Spec iPod Interface PN: PA15HON2 (http://www.usaspec.com/ipod.html) in my 2007. It's $150 from Crutchfield with $20 discount for first-time customers.

Damn I didn't know the CD-changer wiring was that easy to access. I found instructions online for removing all these panels inside the cabin to get to the wire harnesses so I elected to just install the adapter directly behind the H.U. I think I'm going to change the location this weekend since I'd rather have the cable come out of the glovebox than come out next to the center console.

Newer S2ks (MY04 and newer) are pre-wired for the 6 disk CD changer in the trunk.

www.mp3yourcar.com is where I got mine (you can find the same system online if you just look around). It plugs into the CD-changer port but they still haven't created a cable that also charges the iphone 3G. So I bought an adapter to have the unit charge it too for the long s2k drives.

I definitely love this solution because I was sick and tired of always having to take the faceplace off aftermarket systems in my previous cars so thieves wouldn't steal it.

I just ordered the USA spec, i did research on both but decided to take the slightly cheaper route since the NEO is $200.00 and the usa spec was $155. I got a question though, what do you guys mean about connecting it to the 6 cd changer? Will this work for usa spec?

Thats the exact system I have. Works Perfect and you can skip tracks with the remote buttons near the START.

i have Grom audio ipod interface which i got for $80 shipped. direct connection from the headunit is a plus for music quality compared to fm transmitter. i went the cheap way; didn't wanna spend too much on us spec, blitz, etc. i still get to use my side audio controls.

btw, i got a nib 8 disc cd changer for sale.. if you wanna go that way.
