Default Ipod/iphone in a s2000

I have a 2002 S2000. I have an iphone which has a built in Ipod, and the factory stereo. Is there a way I can hook up my iphone/ipod to the factory deck without loosing sound quality? I don't want a crappy FM modulator. Is there an adapter or something that could let me hardwire something in so the sound quality isn't reduced???

That is awesome! But, I have a cd changer in it now, crap. I think that wants to use the same port as that.....

2nd question. I have another vechile that has an Alpine 7982 deck, which has a button for a CD changer, which isn't connected, wonder if they have one for that....

I just posted a new topic similar to what you're asking. I'm trying to mount the phone to the Modifry dash bracket, and put in a new head unit. I suggest if you can afford to, replace the factory headunit. It will make life easier with aux inputs and such, and you will enjoy better quality sound.

Well with an ipod you don't really need a cd changer anymore now do you? $140 is a lot for that unit personally I'd spend $50-75 more and get a nice alpine head unit that controls your ipod.

About the other alpine 7982 if it has an aux input on the back of the head unit thats all you really need to connect your ipod to that

the 7982 would most likely need a Ai-Net to RCA adapter to accept Aux input. It is cheap though.

Hmm, well, the 7982 doesn't have Ai-net in it...

What about this?

I don't know what it means about aux, in the auction., I don't have an aux, but I do have a 8 pin connector ffor a cd changer
