ipod ready alpine

Default ipod ready alpine

just wondering on the alpine head units that are ipod ready, mainly the 9855 i can controll the ipod from the head unit, right?

You have to get alpine's interface unit, but yes, ultimately you can control the ipod from the HU. A bunch of the model year 2004 units do this was well - 9833, 9835...

if u get an alpine that is ipod ready, do u have to use an ipod or can u just use it as a normal cd/mp3 player?

U can use its built in cd/mp3 player, OR use the optional ipod hook up if you buy the ipod adapter

anyone have the Alpine CDA-9851, thats the one im looking at! i dont want to spend 2 much on one, but i dont wanna buy crap


do i need anymore wireing or such to get it hooked up?
