iTouch on AUX-IN, almost no sound.
Hey guys und girls
My ears aren't the best, but still I can hear enoug except it's a really crowdy place.
Because I'm to lazy to burn a Backup-CD for in the car.. I rather put it on my iPod Touch. When I found out my radio has a AUX-in and found a Stereo 3,5mm Jack to red/white things.
So I plugged it all in offcourse with old mp3 player, you never know. But no sound at all. Then I plugged in the iPod.. and a got little sound and only at the rears. (little sound is placing my ear on the rear speakers and hear the music going)
After that i got my Dell XPS 13" laptop in the car and plugged the stereo jack in.. Little more sound than the iPod.. What i did found out, is that if I configure the output on the laptop as FRONT speakers.. results in no sound. So my radio uses only the rear signals?
On the radio I can't controll anything if in AUX mode.. No balance/fader/volume.. All is done on iPod or laptop.
How can I solve this weird problem? That I can get the sound as-if it's my CD.. (LOUD!! )
Yes i checked the cable's on the back of the radio and were plugged in okay. My radio is a Pioneer KEH-3700p, not the newest tho.. But it was already in the car. But I guess it should work, since it's a option on the radio.
Thanks in advance!

that plug on the back of your pioneer is not an AUX input.
You need to buy an IP-Bus AUX input to plug into the blue port if you want to have an actual input.
BTW are you sure your headunit model number is KEH-3700p? I dont show pioneer making that model. :?:

They manuals claims it is a AUX-In .. And I'm 100% sure that it is a KEH-3700p, it say's on the manual, and above the LCD.
Can i have more info about that IP-Bus AUX? Tho I dont have a blue port...

Unfortunately, Pioneer does not have the manual online for that one, but they also do not claim AUX input in the usual place in their specs. I'm afraid I can't really help - perhaps the Euro models are different than the US counterparts?
