Well... i just now burnt out my MTX Thunder 6500D... and now i need to buy a new amp. Does any one have any suggestions on which amp would be best for my 12" W6v2?

Did you get a new box? That W6v2 mounts deep.

 

 

Any particular budget? Space constraints?

 

I made a custom box. It fits right where the toolbox used to be; however, its a little higher then normal boxes. it doesnt level perfectly. I have plenty of space for an amp. the whole trunk and i made an amp rack. The price i would like for it to be under $500.00. I've have been looking into the MONO Alpine MRD-M605. What does anyone think about that? MRD-M605 pushing a 12w6v2?

If anybody is interested in pictures how i got the 12"w6v2 in the trunk, i will take pictures. I'm pretty sure someone has done that already though.

 

I've had good results with the 500/1 on the W6..

 

Lonny is pushing his TREO 12" with the MRD-M605 and it hits real clean. You can find used ones for $200 shipped if you look hard enough.

Put some pictures up of your box, I wanna see how high it sits up.

Here are some pictures. EVERYTHING IS STILL UNDERCONSTRUCTION! I need an amp at the moment, and i leveled the whole trunk like 1/2 inch higher so the box will look more even. you can see on the carpet where i cut board.(needs remodeling)
