Just had one installed last week and love it. Now I can actually listen to music with the top down. I love the fact that it is so hidden. Make sure to bolt it down.

I use the Sony XM-475GSX amp to power both the sub and the front speakers.

Add me to the list of pleased customers. My Stealthbox is powered by an Alpine MRF-T407 2/1 amp. The rest of my system is an Alpine CDA-7876 head powering Kenwood xr600 speakers in front and Lucid/Polk 4" speakers in back.

I had a young man from our largest stereo shop do the install today and he did a perfect job. The amp sits inside the spare tire on a carpeted plywood "dish." Nothing is from the install is visible unless you look under the hood or lift the Stealthbox's "grill."

I have one. It's being installed on Tuesday. It has a cover with a grill built into it. I don't see putting bags on top of it to be a problem. If you cover it up completely with your stuff, I would keep the volume down though. Not an expert, just my opinion.

it sounds great - as JL puts it (very simply) - "we make the boxes for many different cars - if it doesn't sound great, we cease production. this is why boxes aren't available for many cars."

yes yes and yes, It sounds great and is invisible. I hid my Xtant amp next to the spare the car sounds great and looks totally stock. The install is easy. I did it myself and didn't need anything more than patience. Here are some pics of the amp install.

good luck

Mitch

Well worth it. I installed it with a JL Audio 250/1 amp and the sound is excellent. Believe me, more bass that you actually need, so I have to turn the bass control down when playing at high volumes. The rest of my setup is a pair of component Focal Polykevlars with a Phoenix gold amp (300/2). Super clean sound.
