Default Just put in a sub

I just ran an amp in the car and put the sub in the trunk. I have a pioneer amp and HU.

Everything works fine. In the HU I can adjust the bass in the main EQ.
But in the EQ setting for the sub(in the HU) i cannot adjust/control there.

Does anybody know why. thanks
Hope this makes sense

Can you list the model numbers of the gear you have?

Did you hook the RCA connection leading from the HU to the AMP to the SUB or REAR RCA connection?

We know that. We need to know what outputs on the head unit the cables to the amp for the sub are coming from. Typically, a head unit will have RCA line level outs of Front R and L, Rear R and L, and 1 or 2 subwoofer outputs.

Neither. You need to hook it up to the sub outputs. That would explain why you have no control from the subwoofer adjustment menu.

You are the one with the owner's manual. Read it? Or, if you don't have it, look here:
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Sup...-P680MP.Support
You need to register and log in to download manuals.
