Just received in my new dvd player which resolved my old problem with the static. But in this one, it has a feature that if the parking brake is not enabled, it will not play dvd's.

How do you bypass that so that this can work. Do I just have to ground the wire. Does anyone know the trick.

Put the wire to ground. Thats all the parking break is doing.
