Has anyone installed this unit in their S2K? I have a question or two regarding setting the unit up. First, where did you mount the microphone? Second, where exactly do you place the ignition lead and the battery lead? As I posted in another thread, I'm a total newb at this. I will be using the Modifry Plug-and-Play so that simplifies installing the stereo, now I just need to know where to place the leads for the bluetooth unit.

I just recently got this for the 9886. i have the mic on the corner of the windshield. haven't tested it out too much since it just recently got installed. but so far it's worked at 40mph with the top down with no problems. i'll see about posting a pic later when i get a chance.

not sure about installation since i had the place do my whole setup at the same time.

 

For future reference, I contacted Bob at Modifry to get his opinion. He said that I should be able to splice the bt with the headunit and not have a problem. My work is cut out for me on Sunday. I'll keep everyone posted.
