Default Kenwood Keg c710

Thinking of adding this to my Kenwood head. Is this a good, reliable product? The few reviews I found on the internet were all positive.

Thanks!

Arent those around $200? Wouldnt an iPod with an adapter be better? Also portable.

Hey if you want to spend your money on it go ahead. However can I ask why you would ask for our opinion and then as soon as someone give one you answer in such a fashion that inicates you really aren't looking at any other options...?... its just wierd.

I say get an Ipod also. Those Kegs are hugh... and not portable. As it turns out they sell Ipods on Ebay too.

Yes, as the post clearly states DK, I'm interested in comments specific to the keg. Make a thread "Ipod vs Keg" and knock yourself out.

Your criticism is undue. Or, perhaps I'm offbase and should take an internet sensitivity class to be less offensive. [sarcasm]

To each his own.

With that spirit, I'm after the tightest integration with my Kenwood head, reliability, out of sight install, and price.(In that order) An ipod is in my consideration, but portability is not a concern.

But let me know if you're selling a 20GB Ipod for less than $180!

Here one for sale on ebay for less than a $180... Ipod on ebay

Do whatever you want but do get upset when people give you their opinion and it happens to be something other than what you want to hear. If you can take the heat...

Oh and if you want a comment about the Keg... its way to big for what you get and its a total pain in the neck to deal with, but it will link up to your Kenwood HU.

i've heard they have reliability problems.... nothing concrete i can put a finger on, but that they didn't last on the market due to those issues and the fact that a $1 CD burned with MP3's still gets you a ton of music. $5 gets you 3.5 GB.
