Saw that at Sound Advice.

Its a bit pricey, I would just go ahead and get the SR1 with it built in.

The SR1 doesn't have this. The SRX does.

Bad S2K,

Where are sensors placed on your installation? I looked at the SRX at a local store, but they said they would mount the sensors in the grill area.

I've been thinking about this one too. If I do anything it will definitely be a remote unit. I almost bought an SR1 till I found out the SRX was out.

If you don't mind my asking, how much did you pay for the SRX? Did you install it yourself or have it done? Where did you mount the display?

I'll definitely install mine myself, whatever I get. I've also thought about the possibility of concealing the rear IR "guts" inside the third brakelight housing. Cool idea but not an easy task, and would certainly void the warranty. But hey, I can't very well leave it "un-modifried" can I?

$1500. The only way it is sold is installed. If your gonna cusyom install just make sure whatever you do doesn't interfer w/ the laser transceivers.

Why don't yall get the Passport 8500 for $300.00 and the ZR3 for $500.00 (installed), which together in the same way that the SRX does for $700.00 less, compared to $1500.00 for the SRX alone?
