Did you have to remove your bumper? I am not willing to do that
Yes, I did take the bumper off. Not as hard as it seems. Just don't need to get in any hurry when doing it.

I originally had replaced the stock bulb but that didn't last long and the spread of light was not to my liking. This was well worth the work. Only took about an hour and half total.

thanks for the comments!

Nice! Do you think red would be alright or would cops get >=|? I don't see why it would be bad, doesn't f*** with your nightvision.
depends on where you live... Cops are pretty laid back in my town but, I try not to give em a reason.

Hmph... I'll have to look it up. (Want to do red lights under the dash & that would look pretty matchy.) Blue would kill your eyes or else that would look good.

ya.. i bet the red would look pretty cool but might be too much.

I was just trying to get that clean (lexus look) on my license plate. I think you have to be real careful with messin with lights or cross in to rice territory.

Yeah. I wasn't going to do any other lights. Just a cheap start for my red/black theme. I'm also driving 90% of the time at night and always drop crap down there =P. Next time you're driving at night try to look at your feet, lol. (even with the dome light on).
EDIT: Definately throw up some pics from inside/outside if I do it.

Nice!

For those looking for a solution with less hassle I still recommend the LED board lights. They fit in the original housings and come with adapters to fit the existing sockets. I've been running with mine for at least a year now, I think.

The lighting conditions in my photo aren't as dark as the OP but you can see how bright and even the LED board light is.
