I just bought my S last week and I found a cable while cleaning. It looks like an iPod connector (regular 3.5mm jack) but when I press the CD/Aux button it doesn't switch to Aux like I wish it would. I can't post a pic right now for some reason but it comes out where the leather and carpet meet on the tunnel, more or less down from where the shifter is looking on the drivers side.
Anyone have any idea what this is/ why its there/ how to make it work? An accidentally discovered ipod connection would just about make my day.

If you've got an aftermarket stereo it might be the dash-control interface from a DCI unit, just pulled out of the back of your head unit. That's what my Modifry Honda harness-to-Alpine DCI plug looks like.
