Default Looking for Amp recommendations...

My Phoenix Gold X100.2 has died.

PG X100.2

I have been using it to run CDT CL61 classics in the doors, and have been really pleased with the sound from this combo.

One option would be to simply buy another PG X100.2, but I was wondering if anyone out there knows of a better choice in this price range (around $200 to $300 or so) that would put out around 100 watts x2 (4 ohms) with similar sound quality.

Thanks in advance to any who reply...

I recently went from Pheonix Gold to an Alpine PDX-5 and the upgrade was incredible.

Also went from a 2-ch Kenwood to a 2-ch Alpine and finally settled on a PDX 4.100 (used). As HiVolume said, the difference really is incredible. Mounting is easy and I use the extra channels for a sub.
