Was looking at
Sony Xplod MEX-BT2700

All I am looking for is Bluetooth and MP3 playback via disc

OP wants to be able to use mp3 CDs...thus, Alpine's not-really-all-that-great-lineup of Ipod only receivers is indeed a fail
