Default Low Beam headlight issues

Does anyone have any solutions for the low beam being out? I replaced the hid bulb and ballast and the light still won’t turn on. I’ve been told it may be a wiring issue, but how can I find out for sure? It is only my passenger side. The drivers side is fine. The high beam and the turn signals are also fine. It’s just the low beam on the passenger side that hasn’t been able to work.

Check fuse...check for power with a voltmeter.

Do not check voltage at the bulb, you normally got high voltage there that will blow up your meter.
Only check the battery voltage going to the ballast.

Yes! Thank you. I forgot the HID bulbs use high voltage.

Hi,
Did you ever get your problem solved with the passenger side low beam? I am kind of going through the same thing but on the drivers side. Still searching for a ballast. Any comments you can make regarding your experiences may fit into my puzzle and be much appreciated.

I'm having trouble thinking the ballast is somehow unique to the S2000. Or even the connector. But I think I was wrong maybe one (1) time before.

I thought the same thing, Chuck, but the more research I do on these things, the more I find that they seem to be unique to the AP1 S2000 indeed. Another interesting thing that I've found is that the ID numbers dictate the left or right side. The WT311071 seems to be for the left side and the X6T02671 appears to be for the right side. That doesn't seem to have been thought out very well, does it? I've got one W3T on my bench that has had the output wires cut off of it (the one previously pictured). The seller gave me a full refund to return it and then I thought, me being the experimentative person that I am, why not offer him a small amount to experiment with that part so he agreed and I gave him $25 for it. I have purchased a new D2S igniter wire for real cheap that I'll connect to the wire stubs that I have (solder splice, double shrink sleeve insulate and bench test it with a new bulb set that I just purchased. If it all works out and passes the bench test, I'll install in my car once my mechanic (with the lift) who's doing it gets back from vaca. I also just ordered another W3T (suddenly and all of a sudden, these ballasts are coming out of the cracks....LOLOL) so I'll have a spare one in case my experimentor doesn't work out. (This one has all the wires on it still! LOL)If they both turn out to work OK, I'll be able to sell the other for a reasonable price and assure the buyer that it has been bench tested and works as it should. Keeping my fingers crossed....... Rare as these seem to be, I may just consider learning how to repair them and selling them along with other parts that I sell in my online business, Kickdown Rods Galore & More.
I'll have to see how it all goes first before jumping in.... Thanks for your communicating, Chuck.
