Junkies, Junkies, Junkies, how we doin tonight? Me, Im tired as hell. Why, well, for the past 1.5 weeks, Ive been slaving until about 1am working on my boys M3 system. Some work that was required was new to me, (ie fiberglassing,) so I took my time to do it right. I also needed to use my boy's shop, GRAN TURISMO auto toys, on atlantic avenue in NYC for the garage space, and proper tools. It rained in NY for the past damn decade, so since I didnt have a garage, I need to go here. Thanks to everyone for the support, Phil, John, Bill, Andy, Jim, and whoever else game the the junkie fix that I would be able to fit everything. John, Although I think your system is "blingier" than this one, you gotta give me credit for sticking all this sh!t in there.

Without further ado, the goods.

First, we have the car this is going into. I know its dirty, but like I said, rain for a month and shop to shop will do this to your car.

*something is wrong with the s2ki photo gallery, so I cant show you some of the pics, but I still have lots! *

Now, sorry for not taking progress pics, my smartmedia card for my camera died on me, so I just got a new one today (ordered it online)

Trunk being test fit with fiberglass sidepanels, and the unvinyled wood.

From inside the car. The inside of the port. I carpeted this area to match the stock carpet on the back of the seats, but could not take a picture after because I had the glue curing, Ill post those up on the weekend.

Pics of the Stock Imola leather. Notice the damn rain!

Stock Navi (what a PITA to hi/lo convert!)

Now, the moment youve all been waiting for, the end result of blood (yes there was some, sweat...OMG was there some of that!, and beers

This is the only way I could get these amps to fit....they are monsters.

Stock Navi relocated

Left Glass panel, not bad for a first timer huh?

Right Panel

Those gaps on by the bottom of the fiberglass panels are no longer there, I took the photos before I fixed them.

Comments, lets hear them!!!

Also, the corners of the vynil that you can see the underside have all been fixed. This is just something I do. WHen I finish an install, I look at photos carefully, because the camera sees what you can't.

I did. I used my friend's shop to do some of the work that required a dry area.
I also needed some tools that I didnt have, and didnt want to buy (sander, heat gun....and a few more.
The spider is part of the amp. Its the Soundstream Tarantula.

The retail price on those amps (my friend has 2 of them as you can see) is well over $1900 each. What I got them for is another story.
