Default MID Bass Speakers for the rear?

I have a 10" Alpine Sub in the tool wel area (wich im selling now) I wold like to close down the gap beteewn no bass from door speakers and "too much" bass coming from a sub. can a mid bass speaker behind the seats help? whats a good pair out there? i know these kind of speakers are not going to be able to replace a 10" sub. i just want to add a little more bass to my music without having to set my next car alarm off. and ofcourse i found my self in need of the extra trunk room
thanks for your help in advance

I think you'll find that all the specialized mini subs/mid bass speakers have
magnets too big to fit in the panel behind the seats.
One of these days I've been planning on making an in-cabin small sub box
using either something like a JL 6W0 or something like the Pioneer 8"
slim/low profile sub. Possible locations are left or right side passenger
kick panels, or passenger footwell. I keep hoping someone will come up
with an off-the-shelf solution (hint hint wlaurent)

Easy, get better components, feed them lots of power, and dynamat the shit out of your doors. They should go plenty low to blend with your 10.

im happy with my MB quart componets and have optimum power on them already. Besides you cant really get "bass" out of componets (atleast without blowing them up) they are design for much higher frequencies (just my opinion)
and im not really trying to blend in with sub i already removed my sub
so i have NO bass what so ever

just want to get a little extra kick without a huge BOOOM! and have trunk space

What about one of the self powered slim line subs that fit under the seat?

I was thinking about doing that myself.

Supposedly there are a couple that will fit under the seat.

This one fits from what I understand:

and this one(although it seems a little big): http://www.crutchfield.com/S-6t6gA2FM9nD/c...3KSCSW1&g=51000

I have the JVC CS-BB2 sub and it fits like a glove under the drivers seat I will do the final hook up this weekend and will post pics
There is another local here that has one and it sounds very good.
Pic of it's new home to be

Behind the seat speakers, Exil 5 1/2 comp. they add nice fill but, not much bass.

Before I had a set of pods that let me install a big 5 1/2 comp.
