More bass from rear panel Kenwood 5-1/4s?
I put in Lucid's Kenwood 3ways in front and rear of my '02 a few months back. I am very happy with the overall sound, but I was wondering if I can't get just a bit more bass out of the rears. I remember a similar situation when I installed Kenwood 5-1/4s in the rear deck of my Mercedes SL a few years ago. When I hooked them up just sitting out on top of the deck to make sure everything was connected OK, there was virtually no bass at all. Then when I dropped them into the deck (which is a fairly enclosed space in a 450SL) the bass improvement was enormous.
So has anyone else out there tried some type of bucket or baffle behind the magnets to improve the air movement? Perhaps it's just too wide open behind the rear panels?
Lucid, if you're lurking out there, any suggestions?
Thanks

For the rest of you that were curious about this, he basically said there's not much you can do since the larger magnet of the 5-1/4s fits so tightly in the available space. One suggestion though was to cover the vent in the rear panel to make the space a bit more enclosed. The vent was put there apparently for cabin circulation, it's obviously not just cosmetic since it's behind the seat - so probably best just to leave it alone.
Certainly you can look at different head units, amps, or subs but I was just checking to see if there was a simple and quick way to make a nominal improvement.
