Most Bangs 4 my Bucks
hi!
I posted this topic beacuese I have know idea of what is "good stuff" and what is just ok. I read almost every post and am totaly confused with all the names...polk..lucid..rockford... eclispe..etc
I dont have much money so im looking for stuff that is good in quality yet still reasonable for my pocket book. Im needing a HU, 2 door speakers, 2 tweats, a sub or two and whatever needed to power the setup. When I get more cash I plan to put in some rear speakers so I guess the amp has to have enough channels and power to get those babies up and running
I need to find an affordable setup, any help would be terrific!

You would still get the most out of adding rears first to your stock head. We still have EX402s and DX4s which are a bargin at a complete OEM kit around $150 or so.
RF has really good amps at very good prices, small yet powerful. Look into those. The 500s (or is it x?) is like sub $350 4 channel @ 62 RMS @ 4 ohm or 125 @ 2 ohms.

how much do u want to spend? i could go on forever
For a pretty small budget:
Blaupunkt Austin Headunit - $125
MB Quart DSD 216 (speaker and tweeter) - $145
US Acoustics USX 2100 amp - $140
Adire Audio Shiva 12" sub - $125
US Acoustics USX 2150 amp - $180
If you decide to buy rear speakers, you can run them from the headunit. I would recomment trying w/o the sub and the 2150 amp first. If you really really want the bass, then get the sub.

I want to buy every thing in small pieces. 200 dollars at a time. Should I start with lucids rear speakers? Then go with a small amp to enventually power the new quart speakers and tweats? Im not going to put money into a head unit if I dont have to. But I want to buy those custom 8" in the store. Can I get one amp to power all 6 speakers and eventually the two rear subs? Thanks!
I saw this on ebay...
Polk Momo MM6 6.5" Car Components Speakers.
These speakers are brand new, never installed, straight from the factory. It is not refurbished.
This auction is for two woofers, two tweeters and two crossovers. Each bid represents a complete set.
its going for about 200 bucks. Is that a good option? Will it fit my car?

F20 - yes its just a simple s2000 base to mount them on. 2 spring loaded terminals to connect the amp to. I'm believing you get the most out these because they are factory/lab designed, built specifically to be what they are. Aiming towards the cabin helps too!
