Default Most OEM looking headunit?

Hey guys-

Im wanting to upgrade my stereo, but I am extremely ocd about having an OEM looking unit installed. Even a color-matched Alpine looks whack to me. Is there any aftermarket deck out there that looks just as nice as an OEM honda one? Thanks in advance.

Check the price though, its worth it for SQ, but not for ascetics.

Why not keep your stock unit, and get an amp to power your speakers / sub? Then you will be stock!

Nakamichis are top notch gear and always really OEM-looking.

Nakamichis might not look pretty but they are built like a brick!

How well will this work as opposed to getting a new headunit? Will I sacrifice any quality of music? Im also wanting to maybe get a nice component set as well. My ap1 speakers are awful, but you already know this...

The stock headunit is pretty poor. If you can find a used Nakamichi CD-400, you'd be looking at a better deck by leaps and bounds. They illuminate in 4 different colors so you can get pretty close to stock. You'll also need an amp for aftermarket speakers if you want to hear them with the top down.

I had a CD-45z in my supra a few years ago and it was an awesome deck. It doesn't have direct ipod controls, but it does have an AUX in so you can connect it to that. Unfortunately, you will lose your dash controls with a Nak deck. You would with the Clarion mentioned above as well.
