Default Mounting Valentine 1 to Modifry Windscreen Mount

Hello everyone. I've purchased and mounted the Modifry S2000 Windscreen Camera Mount.

Since it comes with a spare Quick-clip, I plan on using it to mount my Valentine 1 Radar Detector. However, the V1 sits about 1" too low if I mount it directly onto the Quick-clip.

I'm just looking for any ideas to do this, and make it look "nice." Any ideas or pictures would be much appreciated.

I haven't finalized a place for the V1 Concealed display, so if you have any ideas for that, please chime in.
I've researched a lot of different places to mount it, but I just haven't found a place that is "perfect." I definitely do not want it mounted in the rear-view mirror. I kind of want it integrated... semi-integrated is fine as long as it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.
I haven't seen a picture of this yet, but I kind of want to mount it between the 2 defrost channels on the dash where the dash meets the window. I would have to thin it out and probably re-route the RJ45 jack... but I think it would be kind of nice, and hopefully the red LEDS won't be too intrusive at night.

Thank You!

I have the Modifry mount and I'm trying to figure out how to mount the V1 myself without looking ghetto. Have you mounted the main unit already? Would love to see pictures of that.

Same here but I replaced the suction cups with 3M Dual Lock. CD is stuck in front of the gauge cluster. Not integrated at all and not perfect but there aren't many suitable mounting options IMO.

I'd love to see the V1 mounted to the modifry mount and the display in the mirror or something along those lines. That would be an awesome option.

My part came in yesterday and I got around to taking some photos.
The part that is mounted on top of the Quick-Clip is a PanaVise Tipper. I originally planned on using an offset tipper, but Bob@Modifry happened to have this one in stock, so I went for it.

(Note: My camera broke so I'm using a cell phone camera).

Here is the tipper mounted on top of the Quick-Clip:

Here it is mounted on my Windscreen Camera Mount:

Concealed display should be in tomorrow

great!!!!!!!! except it only does half the work for ya...the best part of the valentine one is that it does front and rear....you're eliminating most of the rear by not giving it a clear path through the rear window...same goes w/top down and you windscreen is up...that's a fail imo...just mount it to the windshield and have the remote on the steering column cover and end it...that's as good as it gets
