How close is your passenger's knee to that pod, if they prop their feet on the cross-member (like they always do)? I want to say my wife's knee is always RIIIGHT in that area... How strong are they? How thick is the mold at the tapered middle?

are you guy to pay shipping from Colombia ? ( south America ) ?

Hey andres, esta Nice
All the boxes I receive from Columbia are opened and have DEA/US Customs tape on them when they arrive.

Nice looking work. Is that a newly molded piece or did they modify the original?

Thanks guys, I'm glad you liked it!!

I guess we could make some for the guys that are interested.

With these, I just bought a set from Jeff (hardtopguy) and they were like 5 bucks.
And making them was around $70 (molding, fiberglass, paint, etc).

My main concern would be the shipping. Things tend to "get lost" when shipped using regular Colombian post, so I'd have to ship them via fedex, ups or dhl.

And John, the same thing happens to me too: my girlfriend is always blocking the sound from the speaker. Tomorrow I'll take a picture of how much her knee blocks the pod (she hasn't even seen them yet...)
The pod is really strong. The wood ring was first attached to the housing and then the whole thing got covered with fiberglass, so it's really stiff. I'll take some videos of me pulling it to show you how strong it is.

Thanks again guys!

Andr
