Looks great, I gotta say you have great taste in cars considering i've seen you on the last three forums I've been members of (former NSX owner, current ISF, and S2K). Keep up the solid work!

Looks great! Couple questions...
How did you determine the outline for the cutout? How did you secure the radio behind the dash? How does the fabricated trim piece attach?
Thanks!
Can we see some pics for the new project?

Many people think the cutout is something that you can use a template and in reality this is not true. Each unique mfr. of the double din has different dimensions so we customize the cutout hole AFTER the bezel is created. In other words the two parts are uniquely specific to each installation and also customer tastes.
Case in point, the 05 Rio you see in the pages before you was built for a Eclipse 6.5" unit. If you notice the shape of the bezel, it's not exactly the same as the one for the Alpine 7" display we did for another client.
Double DIN units have the additional challenge of the depth since 7" is the typical space you need which means you need to re-route the air duct that goes to the passenger side. Overall labor to complete a full project is pretty intense which is why we would need the car for roughly a week to do the full installation from drop off.
Currently we are planning to do a tablet install that does NOT require the dash to be cut or drilled, stay tuned as we update on that project in one of our other demo cars.
For comparison sake here's the 05 Rio:

We also do a lot of other cars such as this M3:
and here's a trick Hummer with iPad:
