Default My humble system upgrade

After a month of working on the car a couple of hours a day, I finally got everything hooked up. My old system consisted of an Alpine HU, Infinity 6.5" 3-ways in the doors, Lucids rear panels with Polk speakers, a JBL mono amp and a 10" Image Dynamic sub in a Qlogic premade box. The amp/sub has since been moved to my Prelude. Anyways, after seeing darkknight1999's groupbuy for the sub box, I decided to redo the system. I first took apart the car and applied Dynamat to the trunk, doors and passenger compartment. Then I rewired the car including the door speaker wires with Monster Cable 4-conductor wires for the new Infinity Kappas. I kept my HU and also installed an Alpine S634 CD changers to play MP3s which I mounted underneath the drivers seat. I still need to tune the settings but so far I'm very happy with the sound. Any suggestions on how to tune the sound? With the amps in the back, it's hard to adjust and listen at the same time. Also and 0 volume with the engine off, I hear a very slight hum coming from my tweets. Is this normal? I have not adjusted the Soundstream amp yet and think it's my gain?

Here's the amp rack I made. It fits and works ok. It's not as nice as PAS2KNUT's.

I routed the RCA and speaker cables through the center constole.

Here's the vertical amp rack I made. The cables will be hidden behind the spare tire cover.

The CD changer. It's not touching the floor. There's plenty of space.

And the sub. Thanks John.

Thanks for the compliments.

Gabster, I used 3/4" plywood. I forgot where I got the carpet. I've had it for awhile but I seem to think I got it from Home Depot. The texture is more felt like. You might want to ask John to see what he used on the sub box.

To nice, clean, "humble" setup.

Can you do mine now?

Thanks. I wired my cap tonight, cleaned up the wiring and finally got to drive it. Something must of got disconnected because I had no sound coming from my fronts even though they had been working. Anyways, turned off the stereo and just tried to listen to the car with the dynamat. It felt very weird driving the car. It was definitely more quiet than before but now I hear different sounds. These new sounds must have always been there but was masked by the now dampened sound.
