Sup guys, the only thing i have upgraded in the sound system department is a alpine 9827. Everything else is stock. My goal is to get a good sound system with a good amount of thump. My plan was first to change the front speakers to either MB quarts or Infinity perfects. I know that to get the most of of the speakers i would need an amp and im willing to spend less than or around 250 for it. For the thump i was plannin just to get a pair of aura bass shackers or subs. From what i hear in other threads i better be ready for a massage and that makes me think that its gona be thumping so hard im gonna have a headache. The subs im not so sure of becuase i dont want them to be placed in my boot. Anyway, let me know what u guys think, what kind of speakers, amp, etc should i get for my thump. I like to be thumpin with my rap most of the time but i would also like to listen to my classical music without the hardcore thump. Thankyou!!!

As far as speakers, I vouch for the amped perfects, they kick ass. I have a PG Tantrum T600, which I got on Ebay new for 200 that runs them at 75 W/channel, which is quite underpowered and they still kick ass.

As for thump, it depends on how MUCH thump you want. If you only want a good sound rounding thump, I'd say one or two 8 powered properly will get you there, I have 1 8 and when I have rap on my cockpit actually vibrates a lot, but it's not ridiculous. If you want more, a bigger sub (10 or even 12 if you REALLY like bass)
