Default nav system help please

want a system that is large enough to easily see and one that talks to you too.
would like to be able to move it between my cars. mounting is not as important as quality of the product and large screen to make it easy to see.

garmin 2620 or magellan 700 looks good, but have seen some posts of systems that some guys prefer over these.

nav system preferences??

I like the new Garmin C33X series units. Great form factor/ touch screen. Great windshield mount.

2 votes for that one, and the info on it looks pretty good.
looks like it would be easy to take from one car to another also.

I have Navman PiN/Mitac 168.

The great thing about it is that it's just a PDA with built in GPS. SO not only does it move from car to car easily, but I can also use it when walking.

It's great if you're in a foreign city or area and park somewhere but have to get to a few places by foot.

And of course it's also a PDA so you have all those other functions built in.

I have the Garmin 2610, its the same one as the 2620 but doesn't have a 2GB hard drive, it uses compact flash (and it's $300 cheaper). I bought a 1 GB compact flast from compusa for $59, and have 2/3's the country on it.

It's also very easy to use. the magellan isn't!!

I have the Garmin 2610, too and love it. At first my wife though I was making another stupid electronics purchase, but now she loves it too as she does not need to read the maps.

On the two Garmin units with built in maps/hard drives how do you update the maps and the firmware?
