Need amp help

I am now running an Xplod deck and have a JBL sub that I need an amp to power, obviously. These are the sub specs:

12" Woofer
PowerHandling - 120W RMS, 480W Peak, Impedance: 4Ohms

What type of amp do I need? A Class D mono, 2 channel, etc...?

Hey!

If you are planning to run the amp just for the sub you will need either a 2 channel or a mono block (1ch) amp.

If you plan to run a pair of speakers aswell as the sub you will then need a 4 channel amp..

Either class A/D will be fine for the sub amp as you are running a lower wattage sub.

Did you have any amps in mind?
