The frequency points suggest a high-pass crossover point adjust, not a subsonic filter. Subsonic filters are designed to remove the REALLY low frequencies that human ears typically can't hear (hence the term 'subsonic'). While SOME amps can faithfully reproduce these frequencies, they are generally matched up with a specifically designed speaker as well....I'm talking stuff in the 5-15 Hz range, and the speaker is specifically designed to move the diaphragm slowly, but powerfully.

Oops, sorry, forgot to suggest where to set it. This will depend on your particular setup, of course. If the amp is driving full-range speakers, set it as low as it will go, or turn it off, if possible. If it's running subs and you can't turn this off, you're using the wrong amp. If it's running full-range and/or mid-range and/or tweeters, AND you have another amp running subs, you should set the crossover point to a frequency just below the cut-off point of what your subs faithfully reproduce.

Can you give us more information about your system? We need more information before we can really comment.

Do you have a sub?
Is this amp running the sub?
Is this your only amp?

OK, we can be more specific now. Determine what frequency range your subs are good to...let's say, as an example, your subs reproduce good bass up to around 300 Hz. On the amp that's running your separates, turn the high-pass crossover point to something just below that, say 250-280 Hz. This way, the subs produce the heavy hitting notes, and the separates pick up where the sub starts to leave off without attempting to do what they're not that good at (reproducing bass notes).

So for four channel (component speaker) should set to high pass at 120hz and two channel (sub) low pass for 120hz right
