need help with basslink

Default need help with basslink

i installed my basslink yesterday. i spliced my basslink to all four speaker output. the LED is on indicating power to the sub, but i do not get any sound. s
anyone has trouble with basslink???

i fixed the problem. it turned out i connected the ground wire to a poor grounding source. after i connected it to a body panel, the woofer works fine now. it's very loud. in fact, it's too loud. i had to turn the boost to lowest level to avoid disturbing my neighbors.

s22k, where did you mount the basslink. Did you get the newer model or the original?

i got the original model. it's actually a lot bulkier than i expected. for now, it's sitting in the truck well, above the tool box. i am thinking about taking it apart and see if i can squeeze it into some small places, like the spare tire area.

Congrats on your basslink- I heard that if you fire it down, you will get better sound quality. If you face the speaker up, the bass is dispersed through the trunk lid.

I just placed my order for a basslink 10" I think it's the original, does anyone have any pics of how you mounted it in the trunk? Any help is appreciated.
