there is always a budget.

alpine F#1 for head unit, Brax amps get my vote, lotus reference speakers get my vote, then get it professionally tuned and installed.

this setup should cost you around $15000

NO budget huh?

Buy a new car, Porsche Carerra GT, Ferrari F430, Porsche GT-2.

Now for audio.

You got the sub, so now you need some amps, the W7 takes some serious juice to move it.

Amp I would say some Zapco's or Audison amps, not sure which model's though, but those are pretty elite amps, next step up would be TRU or BRAX, serious $$$.

Speakers, hmm just to see someone post some pics, I would say Focal Utopia Be's ( i know albert , but i want to see them in a car ).

Headunit, hmmm, I dont know, if I had a infinite budget, I would put a Pioneer AVIC N2 flush mounted in the dash. Custom work needed for that.

Pikka....just an FYI, the W7 needs LESS juice to move than the Alpha 10"

I hate that thing. Anyway....

A no budget thread...you really wont get much help that way....get the best everything.

Brax, Rainbow, etc.

WEll I guess your right, but I was assuming since he was going for a no budget system, he would want to properly power it to its full potential.

Other than that, Rainbow, Brax, etc I agree, this thread is neither helpful or useful, because we all know, there is no such thing as "no budget", for most S2000 owners.

If I see an S2000 with Rainbox Platinums running TRU copper amps and the works, it will really amaze me. I doubt it will happen though. Really filthy rich people who can afford that gear, usually dont get S2000's.

Rap and country.....eclectic tastes....RAINBOW! BRAX! Nuff said.

Seriously, if you give us a budget (no matter how high) it will help.

$6500 will barely buy you half a set of Rainbow Platinums.

Now with the new budget in mind, you can still pull off a very very very nice system. I dont think anyone has spent that much money on a system in here.

If I had $6500, this is what I would do, assuming the install in an S2000.

1. H/U, like i said dash mounted Pioneer AVIC-N2 with live xm navi traffic!
2. Components, hmmm, I would have to say if I could find a set of the previous model Utopia's, I would go with those. Remember our car is very loud and noisy with very little sound insulation and tons of windnoise to deal with. So going with $10000 speakers in my eyes makes no sense, the benefit you gain from those speakers, pretty much gets erased with all the noise.
3. Amp, I would say a BRAX. 4 channel. x2400.2 G.E. Tasty!
4. Sub - Hmm I would have to say a W7 is a bit to extreme for this car. I had a tough time getting rid of all the rattles with my Alphasonik, I could not imagine what a W7 would do. Honestly, either an Alphasonik PSW810 or Lotus SEAS Sub. The PSW810 never did me wrong, and I have nothing else to compare it to. Our car is so small, that you dont need 4 12's to make adequate bass. Lotus SEAS only because I am buying one now

Thats it, so in the end I think I would end up spending about $5000, and pocket the rest. Thats just me though.
