If the radio is the original one that came with the car, then you find the code for free from Honda Owner Link

https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login.asp?brand=honda

Give it a try again?

I have the same exact problem, the radio still has power to eject the CD that was in it but that's it. It won't turn on to display "CODE" or whatever the message is.

If your battery goes dead or is dosconnected, or the radio fuse (no.19), then a stock head unit will go into safe mode and disable itself. If this happens you will see the word "Code" in the frequency display the next time power is restored to the head unit. If this happens you need to use the preset buttons to re-enter the code. If it is entered correctly it will start palying again. You have ten tries to enter the correct code.

Important Note: If you make a mistake or enter the code incorrectly DO NOT START OVER. Complete the five digit sequence, then enter the correct code. failure do do this will make it so the partial entry is carried over (i.e. you are not entering the code you think you are). If you are not successful in ten attempts all is not lost. You must leave the system on for 1 hour before trying again.

Fuse: Number 19 is located in the under the dash fuse block around the drivers side where your left knee would be. Its a 15 Amp. It's in the right row (there are two rows of fuses, right and left. It's either the 7th from the top or 7th from the bottom. I can't remember. I do remember the owners manual says from the top and the Helm manual says 7th from the bottom...but I can't remember which manual was right
