Default Need help wiring Crossover

Iam installing my speaker/crossovers/tweeters and HU in today. I have it down pack on how to install everything but the crossovers. Iam not sure what wires goes to what. Ive posted a quick diagram of how I think it goes but not sure. Oh and a blank diagram just incase someone wants to add something or show me the correct way. If iam doing the speakers first, Do I run the speaker wires comming from the door to the crossover and then to the speaker??? same with tweeters?? Ohh and when doing the speaker part and running it to the cross over, what collum do I put it in?? the input section or woofer section. I ask this because ive been reading here and some ppl call the woofer the speaker so not sure where they go. And if that is true, that I run the speaker wires to the woofer collum, whats the input for??? Oh iam not running a amp here, do I need one to even use this?? oh yeh, its alpine type r crossovers and speakers.

this is the blank diagram if someone wants to add anything

My way that I think it goes wired

To wire up a component speaker system using the factory wires do the following:

Disconnect the plug from the woofer (what you have labeled as speaker). Connect these wires to the Input terminal of the crossover. It will help if you have a factory wiring harness adaptor like the one Crutchfield provides - since you won't have to cut the factory plug off.

Run a new wire pair from the crossover Woofer output to the new woofer.

Run a new wire pair from the crossover Tweeter output to the new tweeter. Don't reuse the factory wire running to the tweeter.

When you are done, each terminal on the crossover should only have one wire connected to it.

kinda right, but kinda not....i havent looked at my door speaker wires since i installed mine, but im pretty sure the stock tweeters run off the same signal as the bottom door speaker, they just have something on the tweeter to block out most of the lows so they dont blow. you're going to run the speaker wire from the car into the input, then the woofer goes out to the lower speaker, and the tweeter goes to the tweeter. your crossover only has the 3 connections?

edit
i just realized someone got in before me, what he said looks right
