need some help with "q factor"?
i have a pioneer deh-p4000ub installed in my s2k and i am having a hard time understanding what q factor means my options are 2n-1n-1w-2w, could someone try to explain what these numbers mean and what the letters mean? and how it tunes the sound?
i couldnt find anything on this site about it and very little on google

well...first off...that chick in your signature is obviously an AP1 B*tch with "2" photoshopped over "1", and 2nd...i dont know about that specific feature of the pioneer....do you have a manual?

Play with it. The end result of the sound is what matters anyway.
There's definitely info out there on Google. I didn't know a thing about it before Googling.
i have opened the manual and looked at the diagram, what im trying to do is take as much bass out of the door speakers as possible(i also have no sub) so i set my low to 40hz and q factor to 2n being it looks like that is the least one bcuz in the manual its listed as 2n-1n-1w-2w but it seems i get more bass when its on 2n than 2w
