My S2000 was broken into recently. They tried to drive the car away but what I assume was the alarm system prevented them from doing so. The ignition lock was broken as well. The S has a Checkmate Alarm system (installed by the PO), which I believe is now out of business. A decent amount of wires were cut and it looks like they tried to hotwire the car as well? Not entirely sure. At this point the car will not start and I'm pretty confident it's because of the alarm system. I have no idea though how to remove the alarm system. Any help?

 

Seems like you need to have some alarm installer to redo the whole alarm system with a new unit like Viper or Compustar
