Its a Cadence ZXN-52 Neodymium magnet 5.25" speaker

Heres a few shots of the speaker and the test fit:

Front:

Rear:

Test Fit:

Specs:

50 Rms/100 Peak watts
Mylar Capacitor Crossover Network
Frequency Response: 45Hz-20khz

Sounds excellent on a MY2002 stock radio! Pretty cool looking too!

BTW this company makes some of the BEST amps. If you need one, let me know!

How would you rate these compared to the Lanzar 5 1/4"?

well I can tell they're made side by side to the lanzars. slightly better bass response. the grill sticks out more than I want it to. Overall its a very good speaker in performance and one of the prettiest I've seen too

Could these be used without the grill on?
Are 5 1/4"s the biggest you can fit in the rear?
and, out of all the different sets of rear speakers you supply, what are the best in terms of bass response and clarity? or are there any you would recommend, looking for something pretty loud that does not distort at high levels and provides a nice amount of bass.

PS. Will be looking to add an Amp for the Door and Rear speakers, any suggestions on this. I am new to all this so be gentle.

I really wouldn't go any larger than 5.25". Take a good look at the photo and you can see how imposing that speaker is to the grill.

The neo magnets are more expensive but a more advanced magent which allow for more powerful speakers. The big issue was magnet diameter, but with this type of speaker, I can get around it.

Yes you can use any speaker without a grill, but the grill protects it from any damage. Its a good idea to keep it on!

If you do add an amp, I have to recommend the Ultrashock line of Amps from Cadence. They are excellent! The A6 model will drive 6 channels @ 75 watts 4 ohm. Research it.

I have a couple of things in the works for midrange and bass. Due to the specialty speakers I will use, they will be more expensive then other offerings I've had.

Don't mind paying more, especially if the increase in sound quality and bass at higher volumes is significant. Will definitely be purchasing the two replacement door speakers, two rear speakers, amp and head unit all at the same time, but won

lucid - Do the neo magnet speakers list the excursion (X-max) rating? Most of the neodymium magnet driver's I've seen have very low X-max, maybe due to the magnet design, I don't really know. But excursion will limit bass output at higher volumes, so it's always something I look at if I want decent bass output from a driver.

Boy Lucid following in the footsteps of greatness. I have been selling Cadence for about 2 years now and you are so right they sound awsome!!! I have not brought the subs/amps/speakers to the forum because of their weight shipping and my only sticking to the dash controls sales.(though if they specificly ask I can get no problems) Good luck!

They have a set of subs that totally kick tail!!!!

Those speakers were brought down to Fall Colors and very quickly snatched up!(6.5" of course)

I actually have the 4 channel 75x4 running my fronts. Not the A4 the other one. Super powerful.

Maybe I should create a new post for that one

hey lucid- couple of questions:
1. is that a separate rear tweeter in the photo?

2. should i replace the speakers i just got from you with these? i am still in love with the ones you sent me... but if the sound is a lot better i should consider the change. how much do you sell these for?
