Just wanted to say I am very happy with modifrys DCI adapter for my new Alpine 9813 HU. Wow! I already had a 300 watt Blaupunkt amp in the spare tire and Infinity speakers in the doors with Lucid's rear speaker kit with Kenwoods. The sound was great but the new HU has greatly improved the Bass and clarity. Modifrys DCI works great with almost no delay at all. Great invention!

Thanks for your input, I just put the 9813 in my s2k as well. Anyone know if the Alpine brand adaptor on Lucids site is compatable with the 9813. I am still a little confused on which adaptor will work best. Any opinions?

The apline brand adapter is for EDM radios only. You would have to import the radio your self. The Multi DCI is your best bet. It is a dream come true. There is nothing that has the fuctionality it has.

I have a european radio, which uses that adaptor. I got mine before the DCI came out. If I had the choice between doing it over again I'd probably go with the DCI, just because its a lot easier that finding someone to sell you a unit from Europe.

AM is MW on the European radios and the channel separation is off by 2. For example the AM station I listen to is 560, I tune it on 558 MW. Since your not exactly at the right frequency its not the clearest, but its useable. I never really listen to AM, so its not a big deal to me.

FM is perfect, even RDS works.
