Uh, I think you need to reconsider this. 200+dB would blow out your eardrums... literally.

Eat more beans 'n brocolli - they'll get you there!

What are you trying to build, a sonic stunner?

Read this:

With that much power to produce around 175 dB, I can't imagine how much power would be needed to produce over 200dB (since every increase of 3dB requires a doubling of amplifier power). This would be approx 33 million watts of power to produce a sound of 200 dB based on that guy's van!

Even if you could I would think it would be lethal or pretty damn painful.

There's a Kragen amp on eBay that is rated that high, and it's only $25.

how is it a waste of $? this is a forum full of people who have "wasted" thousands of dollars on their car. i had a 110 db, it wasnt loud enough, i got a 140db and it wasnt loud enough. i want a horn that lets people know im there (in the case of lifted trucks) and lets somone know when they have done something stupid. Also remember the "200db" horn will not be in the cockpit, it will be in the engine bay. thank you for those who had intelligent comments.

This is the waste I was referring to:

Perhaps I should have been more specific. If that's what you intend on doing to get a 200db horn then I guess my comment applies to you as well. I don't think your S2K is going to move very far though considering the equipment weighs over 7,000 pounds.

It could be in your trunk for all that it would matter. A 200dB horn anywhere in your vicinity would probably make you have an involuntary bowel movement due to the pressure waves, shortly after it ruptures your eardrums.

Going louder is fine, just pick a more reasonable figure.
