Default novice installer tryin to install everything himse

So, im trying to install my own system...save some cash get the experience,
but is it worth it?

alpine 9856
jl W6
infinity kappa perfect 6.5
boston acoustic 6.5 - for rear lucid panel
jl 250/1 for sub
jl 300/4 for speakers
cap-possibly

what wire kits do i need?

basically i am a complete novice, and i would be going entirely off of other peoples install pics and summaries.
i guess the first question is...how much should all this cost to get installed by a professional?

amp mounting positions. 300/4 into small space left of spare tire. 250/1, on a vertical rack in front of the 300/4.

Am I in a world of trouble trying to do this by myself?

You sure those 6.5 Bostons are going to fit in the rear?

lol. youre asking yourself for trouble if you want to start taking questions- ask darknight. but thanks a lot wrecked. I will most likely take you up on that offer.

well, the bostons currently fit in the door of my 00', so if you mean too large, i cant imagine. If you mean too small, I guess i could always try to create some brace for them. I can get all MDF crazy since im going to already need to make spacers.

thanks for the link, going to check that out now.

yup, already checked that link out. is it any harder to install two amps than it is to install one? Do both amps hook up to the battery the same way? as you can see...i dont know what im doing...yet.

No, you run ONE 4AWG wire to a distribution block that will be located in the trunk, which will split into TWO 8AWG wires, going to each amp. Both amps will require their own ground.

(AWG=Gauge)

or instead of a distribution block... and since you are running two amplifiers, i might suggest a capacitor, just incase your like me and like to drive with the music loud, or maybe an A/C (or heat) nut lol

with a cap, you can run 4awg to the positive post, then also run 2 8awg from the same terminal to the amps

just my opinion though

A cap has nothing to do with a distubution block...moreover, your wiring setup has the cap "aiding" both amps....which you dont want.... You only want it to aid the sub amp.....

Moreover, a cap in his situation wont do anything anyway...just get a good battery.
