yup, if you want much music on a single disc as possible & if SQ doesn't count. yeah that totally works. BUT unplug your computer from the internet and rename the files in itunes, otherwise they will write over your old files.

This seems like an archaic, slow process, but it does work and retain as much quality as possible....this is how I handle it.
I deleted all the imported Aac files, just becuz I was pised.
2-3 days of work for nothing, but its my stupidity, it says on bold letters, convert file in to aac.
Anyway, started ripping again as mp3.
Hoping to be done in about a week.
Current progrees
875 files imported as mp3, barely quarter of the cd's are done.

I rip to AAC and burn either mp3s for the Honda or aiff for the other cars.
IIRC all I did was make a change in "preferences" before burning.
I could be mistaken however.
Taking a look at itunes really quickly - I just selected the burning preferences as "audio cd" for aiffs and mp3 cds for mp3 cds.
